Dark Brotherhood Problems

I have killed Lachance and the agents during the main quest. Can I still get into the Dark Brotherhood quest. Thank you-the game seems a bit buggy but I bet I have 200 hours invested in it

Short answer: no.

Jerk answer: yes if you start a new game.

Cheaters answer: maybe, if you use the console commands.

You could use cheats, but that is sometimes frowned upon as cheating by others.... Anyway, in this type of problem just remember to save more often.

If you're using the PC, you can use the following console commands:

 

* player.setstage Dark01Knife 20

* prid 25001

* kill

* player.setstage Dark01Knife 100

* player.additem B258 1

 

After using said commands, talking with Ocheeva will continue the quest as usual.

 

I have not tested this myself. (I found it on UESP) So it may not work perfectly. But it's worth a shot.

Hey I did the same mistake. I had just gotten my awesome spell and I felt like sending Lachance to hell. But now I regret.

 

I tried the list of commands. It did not make my game crash, but this is not enough as you need the password to enter the sanctuary. I would advise to enter the stage 30 and 40 before stage 100. I'll try that tomorrow when I play again.

 

Other problem: even if that gets you into the Dark Brotherhood, there's gonna be a time when you need to talk to Lachance again. So then you need to resurrect him.

open the console (~)

click on luciens body and type ressurect followed by enter

like littlehorn said you need to talk to him so you need to bring him back

Also, could there be a way to mod this s h i t out ? Like, maybe, create a mod that would create another Lucien Lachance, who could then trigger the Dark Brotherhood quests again ?
