Game freeze after playing for awhile.

Game freeze after playing the game for 20 minutes more or less.
It doesn't freeze in a specific place or when i do something so it's hard to pinpoint the mod that causing those freezes.
I'm playing survival with a lot of mods(200+) and because of crashes and those freezes I'm using mods to enable save in survival and sometimes the game freeze when I'm saving, if I wait for half an hour without touching my pc the game continues but if i press my mouse or minimize the game i have to quit the game resulting in going back to an old save.

And I don't know if it's related to the problem but normal saves takes about a minute to finish.

 

My PC specs:

Windows 10 64bit

Intel i7 6800K

Gigabyte Geforce gtx 770 4GB

16GB Ram 2400mhz

Most of the game is on SSD(Game+dlcs BA2 files and some heavy mods), the rest of the game is on 2 7200rpm 1TB HDD on raid(2TB and a little faster).

M.esp - Merged RadiantQuestMarker, 16x Range Quest Marker, Colorful Survival Icons, Easy Hacking, Free Downgrades and Generators.

Merge1.esp - Some game settings mods and compatibility and fixes plugin.

 

I tried playing without all those merged plugins and using the original plugins but the game still freeze.

I don't mind the crashes because most of the game is on SSD and load times are faster but not been able to save is really annoying.

Just stating the obvious here.

 

It is almost certainly a mod that messes up. Get yourself a copy of the tes5/fo4edit and the loot tool. While you maybe at start feel it is overwhelming using fo4edit, loot is pretty straight forward. But You will quickly learn how to search for errors and conflicts with fo4edit. From that point on there are 2 solutions.

 

1. Delete whatever mod you get a warning from in the nexus launcher.

2. Learn how to actually use the fo4edit tool to remove conflicts.

 

Just by glancing at your load order i can see that the unofficial patch is a bit down on the list, and as i understand it, that one should always load directly after the main files. Another issue could be vadicil item sorting patches, that one have personally given me a lot of headaches when the mod the patch fits, are updated.(especially with the raider overhaul and mutant redux patches for vadicils item sorting). They are all good mods, but people work on different schedules, so, yeah, that one can f*** you up good. Also, try to categorise your mods after functionality in the load order, after you give it a whirl in the loot tool.

Thanks for the reply.

I'm using fo4edit and every time that I add new mod I check for problems and fix them but for some reason i had a lot of things getting overwritten or missing, I hope fixing these errors will solve my freezing problems.

Is there any way to avoid things like that to happened?

Now when I save the game freeze for 10 seconds and it's only happening in the third or fourth save so I don't really mind it.

I'll keep testing.

 

Edit2:

I used loot and fo4edit to set the load order and remove conflicts, started a new game and played for a while without any freezes.

I hope it won't come back, thanks again.

Glad to hear. I had similar issues, and just learning how to arrange my mods and install them in the correct order, has saved me a ton of trouble.(i'm crash free with around 60-70 big mods, zero merges) My only knowledge about the fo4edit tool is in this thread, but just that tiny bit has really helped me a lot.
