navandozer Posted January 7, 2012 Share Posted January 7, 2012 I've been seeing that using the 4GB loader would automatically start up SKSE, but I learned that 4GB loader was also the name of a mod, so I'm wondering if 64 Bit users need to launch using the skselauncher or just start up the game normally. MShoap13 Posted January 7, 2012 Share Posted January 7, 2012 (edited) You have to start the game through SKSE or through some other launching option that looks for and implements SKSE. SKSE uses a container method to extend the script functions of the game and launching the game through the vanilla launcher will not set up the container, therefore you won't have SKSE extensions. If you have some other launching executable besides SKSE and the vanilla launcher, it's readme should state whether or not it looks for and loads SKSE.
