You cant catch me ha ha
I was wondering if someone could make a mod where you travel to Greece and Troy to participate in the Trojan wars. Add famous heroes like Achilles,Ajax,Hector,Paris and all of the other famous heroes also add a bit of Greek mythology where you have to go receive Blessings and Weapons from Gods and Goddesses such as Zeus Ares Poseidon Athena Aphrodite Dionyses Hermes Apollo Cronus Atlas and maybe add a quest where you go back in time to save Atlantis where thats the only place you can meet Poseidon. also get quests along the way and get back in enough time to fight in the Trojan Wars first to last This may sound like a big request but I know it is possible I cant even get the CS running or I would have done it but thanks for looking and if anyone could do a total conversion such as this it would be great. TheLastIstari
This has been requested before and the same answer stands. It won't work for Oblivion because Oblivion was not meant for massive battles. (Otherwise I could guarentee you Battle for Bruma would've been larger)
madman132
What now? Greece or Turkey? Troy is in Turkey.Well, it would e some giant Pile of Work for someone who doesnt even know where his "Dreamcity" was. New Armorset with no Protection. New Lands, with new Textures, New Castles with Textures, Siegetowers, Rams, Spears, Weapons overall and, lest i forget, NPCs to wield this junk. Maaaany NPCs. The Battle of Bruma is as much of a "Massbattle" that you are going to get. If you'll wait a little, the Introduction of the 9800 Chips is supposed to be early April. Buy two of these for SLI, as much Ram as you can find and you may have a battle with about 50 NPCs. I dont know much about Troy, but the Historian Tacitus writes something about great Battles of Ancient Times. "A thousend times a thousend Soldiers..." Well, He lied. 1000000 Men woulndt be able to fit on the Plain of Oblivion, ah, Marathon, let alone fight. Real Historians theorize about somewhat 10000 Soldiers in all.Still, thats a little bit too much for the Oblivion engine :D Well, ask again in the TES 68 Mod Forum :D
madman132
troy was in today-times turkey...but wen xisting, was speeaking GeekWhich may be due to the Fact that there was no such Thing as a turkish Language. Sure, there where Languages, but no universal Language understandable by many many many People. Ancient Greece was the next best thing. In a great City like Troy, every Trader would have to be able to speak Greece. Greece was the Language of the biggest Warmongering Ressourceplundering Superpower in the World. In every great City of today, you'll find at least some People who speak english :D The Citizens of Troy did have their own "ancient Turk Ancestor" Sort of Language. Well, it was more of a regional Dialect of "Persian" and "Old Osmanic" with just a Hint of "Hebrew"...
GenghisKhanIT
I suggest you to buy a strategy game, instead of asking to modify a FPRPG into a strategy game. I don't know if the following is a little bit OT but...I suggest you Rome:Total War - it contains 15 (if I well remember) different civilizations, each with his own army structure, among which you can find your beloved Greeks, Romans (yeah, of course), Egyptians, barbarians... You can have battles with as many as 4,000 (yes, 4 thousands) warriors individually fighting at the same time. Infantry, archers, knights, horse archers, wardogs, elephants, siege weapons, city sieges and assaults, everything could come up to your mind, and much more, is there. It may be a bit dated from the graphic point of view (year 2004) but IMO it is a true masterpiece and could be what you seem to be looking for.
