Flickering texures when looking up - down and to the sides.

I have had this problem for a while. It's especially noticeable in sunlight and on the foliage.

 

First i belived it had to do with the shadows settings. But what ever i did set the shadows to the problem still was present. Then i thought maybe the Godrays had anything to do with this? But no cigar there either turning the effect off. I have Vsync on btw.

 

It's really tiresome for the eyes to watch that glimmering after a while. So I really hope anyone here will have a soloution for this.

Well, after some real detective work on the net. I found that doing these settings in the Skyrim pref. under [Trees]

 

bRenderSkinnedTrees=0
uiMaxSkinnedTreesToRender=0

 

+ applying "Screen space ambient occulsion" in the launcher options, did remove the flicker to almost nothing. The very small amount of foliage flicker that's still there I can live with.
