Carnster
How do fellow Rimmers! I've recently been tinkering around with making an audio replacement for Skyrim's music. Not that there is anything wrong with it, more an experiment in messing around under the bonnet (Hood for our American cousins) just because it was interesting. Anyway, I've made a few replacements with tunes/sounds that I like and was wondering about what the stance is with regards to audio copyrights? Basically, I've made an audio mod that includes material from, primarily, Wardrunna and some other norse/folk/ambient artists. The big question is, where do I stand on letting others sample the mod on the Nexus? If it's not allowed then fair enough I wont bother, it was really only for me anyway, I just thought others might want to sample it as well. Cheers! C. Sunnie
Short and to the point...You can not upload any copyrighted assets. You can only upload music mods if : - the music you use was written, composed, and performed by you and you own the entire copyright- you have a license to distribute the music- the music is 100% public domain
SkjoldBjorn
i was thinking about putting wardruna songs into skyrim myself, the music is absolutely fantastic. Algir - Tognatale and Hagall would fit in perfect with skyrims Atmosphere!
Carnster
Oh well. That answers that. Shame as I've made a cracking audio experience. Wardruna really fits the setting. It will have to stay as my little baby. Thanks for the clarification.
