Modder Employment Agency

It seems like it would be good if there was a thread that listed modding projects that were currently recruiting, and idle modders that were looking for projects to work on. Different projects need different sorts of modders, and different modders have different types of skills. For example, there are modelers, retexturers, scripters, play-tester/debuggers, dungeon-builders, quest-coders, and specialists in other fields.

When people had their status change, they could go back and edit their posts. Like if a modder said that he or she was available in a post, and then found a project to work on, he or she could go back and change the post so that it said "unavailable" rather than "available."

Modders can list what their specializations and qualifications are, as well as what type of project they are seeking. They could also post links to their existing uploaded mods Projects can list what type of modders they are still trying to recruit, what positions are filled, and what the mod that is being built will do. They can write how long the project is expected to last, how close to completion it is, and post links to public betas and project threads.

If someone found a project or modder they were interested in, they could send them a personal message, because the people involved might not check back and see responses posted to this thread. So it would be better to only post ads here and communicate with modders and projects only through personal messages.

So if you are an idle modder looking for a project, or if you are part of a modding project and are recruiting, you can post here.

MODDER LOOKING FOR A PROJECT

User Name: David Brasher

Specializations: Dungeon-Building, Quest-Coding, Minor Retexturing

Links to Uploaded Mods I was Involved with Making: Mods uploaded to TES Nexus

Desired Type of Project: Dungeon or quest.

Desired Length of Project: Two weeks or less.

Availability: Can start immediately.

Other Info: More interesting in mods were you fight evil than mods where you spread evil. Might be able help out a modeler or retexturer who wants to put creations into the game in a playable and interesting form. Might be able to help someone debug a dungeon or quest mod with problems.

PROJECT LOOKING FOR MODDERS

Mod Name: Addon for theRoadstroker's The Legend of Zelda Remake

What the Mod Does: Adds new items based off of the ones in the original remake, such as the Zora Tunic and Goron Tunic, and also brand new items, like the Razor Sword.

Links to Uploaded Mods I was Involved with Making:

Nexus Mods

28 Days and a Bit 4 - ZOMBIES

How Much Time the Project Will Take: Depends on how fast the new models and textures are made mostly, estimation of at most 2 weeks.

Who Is Already Part of the Project and What Their Fields and Positions Are:

LordFrostcraig - Project Leader, Minor Modeling, Retexturing, Dungeon-Builder, Quest-Coder and Writer, Medium Scripting, Landscape-Building

Open Positions:

Modeler

Texturer

(Really these are the only ones that are needed, because everything else I can do myself.)

Other Info: For modeling, a scabbard for the Razor Sword is needed. Also at least one shield, and two swords (one is very simple in appearance, the other somewhat complicated). For texturing, just texturing the models. Look in thread for some pictures on what's done. PM if you want to help.
