When you get to the point in character creation where you get to tag 3 skills to increase their points, I noticed that not all of the points are the same value (ex. some points have higher values than others) so I was wondering three things: 1. Is there a consistent formula/process on how your SPECIAL attributes affect your skill points when creating your character?2. Is there a base default value for your skills regardless of what your SPECIAL attributes are assigned as?3. Is there a way to override any or both of these processes so that you can chose what your skill points are defaulted to/how your SPECIAL attributes affect your skill points from their default value? Ladez Posted December 31, 2016 Share Posted December 31, 2016 This page on the GECK wiki lists the relevant game settings that you need to modify: Derived Skill SettingsAll skills have a base value of 2 (fAVDSkillSKILLNAMEBase).For each point in a skill's associated SPECIAL attribute, the skill is raised by 2 (fAVDSkillPrimaryBonusMult).For each point of Luck, all skills are increased by 0.5 (fAVDSkillLuckBonusMult).
