AmethystDeceiver Posted January 8, 2012 Share Posted January 8, 2012 it's possible to do it using TESsnip. you want to make a new weapon entry under the WEAP group. you can copy paste an existing weapon (like for example blades sword) to copy its data (i don't fully know how to edit all the stats from scratch, but even that is possible if you know what youre doing). when you paste the blade sword WEAP entry into your edited one, you change the first 2 digits of the EDID from 00 to 01. then under MODL you change the path to your weapon nif. you might also want to create a new forge recipe under COBJ group so that you can forge your weapon in game. I've created a mod using SkyEdit for smithing an Oblivion Leather shield, Oblivion Longsword and also added smithing arrows.
