Need help! Something happened to the spells

For some bizzare reason Oblivon decided to muck around with a few of the spell icons. I can still cast the spells, there are just no icons for them, and the HUD spell icon is whatever other spell was last used/assigned. This all started after I messed around with the load order of my mods after I had installed (but not play-tested) Unique Landscapes (the OMOD compendium); I was trying to achieve the correct load order of these mods with respect to Better Cities of Banasplit and the Better Cities esp fixes for compatibility with a few of the UL. The problem I am experiencing affected my current game, and it affects all new games. There are three symptoms:

 

1) The icon used for "absorb attribute", such as with the Imperial's Greater Power Star of the West (the one that absorbs fatigue) has dissappeared. I installed Diverse Effects icons and the game was able to pick up those and apply them.

 

2) The generic "burden" icon used for custom spells has also disappeared. When a custom spell is added, the info at the top left will display a random icon, or a quick series of icons -- in the end, though, no icon is assigned.

 

3) The spell "flare" has been renamed to "(D1) Flare".

 

I've searched the TESNexus and Bethesda forums (had to use keyword "flare" because D1 contains too few characters), and wasn't able to find any similar cases.

 

I've tried activating and deactivating mods that add spells or alter effects and mods that shouldn't have anything to do with spells, but the problem persists.

 

I do have many, many mods installed (but no major overhaul mods like OOO or MMM), but I am using OBMM and it isn't showing me that any mods are conflicting. I can still post the list, if that info is needed.

EDIT: Problem Resolved (unless it happens again)

 

I have, after a very tedious process of activating and deactivating mods, isolated the problem to a seemingly innocuous mod that had absolutely nothing at all to do with spells. Go figure.

Which mod was the culprit? I'm having map icon problems that I can't seem to track down; maybe it's the same one?
