please explain?

I have played over 80 hours of Skyrim and never killed or harmed any deer. Just outside Whiterun suddenly they are attacking me?

The males, bucks, what ever they are called are now in attack mode. lol Have I done something in the game to trigger this or is this a known bug or something that some do?

 

They normally run away ?

I think it's a good thing. It gets hard chasing them sometimes just for some venison. Plus, they're very easy to kill.

That just happened to me on my assasin char.

Was it glowing green when it attacked you?

Oh, if they're glowing green, it's because a Spriggan has pissed off nature all around you. That happens sometimes.

No they are not glowing green. Mostly happens just outside the city of Whiterun, in the open tundra area.

I'm not sure, then. Sounds like a "game feature" somehow damaged your reputation with the "animals" faction.

I killed the deer that were constantly wanting to attack now all others are back to normal? ... timid and running away. No idea what I did to them to upset them so. LOL

Very, very curious... Though I do recall deer attacking me during the quest for Hircine, but it was only a few and lasted only a little while.

 

Glad your deer are back to being....well deer xD
