Mod Help (Personalized Music)

I use Nexus on a rare occasion. I download most of my skyrim mods from the Steam Workshop. But there was this really cool mod called “Personalized Music” and the instructions were somewhat simple in regards to installation.

I install it manually. Place the folder and the .esp file required in the correct designated area. I placed some test tracks in the folders, but then I realized that it would take me forever to figure out if the custom music actually worked if I had the vanilla music on.

So I uninstalled that by simply deleting the .esp folder and the other folder and replaced them with the “No Vanilla” version of the mod which removes the vanilla Skyrim tracks (which I am damn sick of hearing over and over again). I go into the game, and I hear the vanilla music… Is this working right?

I have no idea if it is or isn’t. I’ve tried placing custom tracks in, as usual, formatted the tracks according to instructions… I can’t figure out what is wrong. The only thing I can figure is that another mod may be conflicting with it but I’m checking programs and I can’t seem to find any compatibility issues.

I haven’t tried disabling all the mods yet, because that’s a lot of work (I have a hundred mods all from Steam and half of them I don’t use anymore so I’d have to go through and see which ones I wanna keep or not).

I need some ideas on what could be causing the lack of functionality. Any help would be appreciated because to be honest I know very little about computers in the detailed sense so I need a step-by-step process when modding.
