Trailer tattoo mop file?

Hi,

 

Does anyone know of a tattoo mod like the one in the trailer that doesn't need the toolset? I'd like one with a mop file so I can add it to the character creator - but if there's another way I don't know about, I'm fine with that too!

 

I just can't use the toolset or any other .exe programs, because I'm on a Mac and I can't figure out how to get them to work with a Wineskin wrapper like I did with the actual game.

Thank you very much! I got it to work using a combination of 2 different mods. I'll explain in case anyone else has the same problem. If I misunderstood how this stuff works and there's an easier way, please feel free to correct me ^^;

 

The problem I had was that all the "Sacred Ashes/Warden's Calling" style tattoos I could find required the toolset, and all the face presets to make your character look like the one in the trailer required (among other things) a tattoo mod like the "Trailer Tattoo", which of course only worked with the toolset. The mods you suggested above all had the same problem, or didn't have a .mop file at all.

 

I had previously installed the "A Malcolm Face Trailer CG Grey Wardens Calling Sacred Ashes" mod, but it didn't quite work out because I couldn't install some of the mods it required to work properly. Half of my character's face would be silvery/black/blue, but after moving the skin and tattoo sliders around I could get rid of that and he'd look like the trailer warden, minus the tattoo.

 

The "AT Malcolm Grey Warden of Sacred Ashes and Warden Calling" mod you suggested above seemed like it would work, as it had no requirements, and although there was no visible .mop file I assume it and everything else needed is included somehow in the .erf file, because it had no listed requirements. Unfortunately once I had installed it, it crashed my game every time I tried to switch to the preset in the character creator.

 

HOWEVER, I noticed that the preset for the "A Malcolm Face Trailer CG Grey Wardens Calling Sacred Ashes" now worked without problems! So I assume all the mods it needs that I couldn't install without the toolset are included in the 2nd mod's .erf file. So all I did then was delete the preset I had added for it in the chargenmorphcfg.xml file so that I wouldn't accidentally crash my game again.

 

TLDR: If you can't use the toolset but want your character to look like the warden from the "Sacred Ashes/Warden's Calling" trailers (or if you just want that awesome tattoo), do the following:

 

1. Go to the "A Malcolm Face Trailer CG Grey Wardens Calling Sacred Ashes" mod page
2. Download and install the "Version 1 Malcolm Trailer Grey Warden Preset" file according to instructions
3. Download and install the required mods listed in the description (only the ones that don't require the toolset - this step might be optional, I'm not sure if the mod in step 4 has all of these or not)
4. Go to the "AT Malcolm Grey Warden of Sacred Ashes and Warden Calling" mod page
5. Download the "AT Grey Warden Character Creator v5" file
6. Unzip the file and copy and paste the "AT Grey Warden Face" in your "override" folder - do NOT add a preset for this to your chargenmorphcfg.xml file

Now the preset for the CG Grey Warden mod should work. If you want to use the tattoo with a different face, just select the preset and then make any changes you want. If you change the tattoo you'll have to select the preset again to get it back.
