I like the idea of being able to choose from a few different responses.

Violence

Threats of Violence

Reasoning with the person

Ignoring the insult.

To give everyone a chance to respond in some way to the abuse.

Violence - Yep ...

Threats of Violence - Hmmm, maybe, I like the "intimidate' option already

Reason with the Person - Reason? REASON? You call yourself a Nord?

Ignoring the Insult - By the Nine I'm a Nord Hero F F S !!! I don't 'ignore' insults like some pathetic elf  I answer with my SWORD!

OK .. .quaffed a Skooma and some Sleeping Tree Sap, feeling better now

Step farther, a complete dialogue overhaul is undoubtably in order for Skyrim. The dialogue is horrible. You can be the Listener, Thieves Guild Master, Nightingale, Archmage, Slayer of Alduin, and won the war by the side of General Tulious/Ulfric Stormcloak, but What does Vilkas / Kodlak have to say about it? "What? Look at this weakling (Disregarding maxed out combat skills, glowing/burning eyes, and massive warhammer while your clothed in deadric armor leaving only your cruel/beautiful face exposed (Because helmets are for cannon fodder)) I've never heard of her before".

Every time a guard has told me they've taken a sword to the chest or an arrow to the knee, I've always wanted to do exactly that to them with no repercussions. I guess brawling them to near-death would be fun, too. P:

... I have F5'd and butchered I don't no how many Whiterun Guards for that one ...

Yeah, I've done that a lot, too. >_> I've even disabled Essentials for some characters that just irked me the wrong way to thoroughly imprint on their bodies after death, with my sword, who is the better person. So being able to bludgeon them into submission with my fists would be a wonderful joy for me.

(b',')b!
