jhelzei
Inspired by this hilarious video: I decided to try the cheese benchmark for myself. Disappointingly, I can only get about 750 cheese wheels bouncing down a hill before Skyrim SE locks up. FPS drops from about 55 fps to 45 fps at 700 wheels, but the game completely locks up at 750 (not the whole system though.) I have an i5-3570 and a 2GB GTX 670. Anyone else up to the challenge? L3s7ing
Interesting "benchmark" xDMaximum I could spawn with one command was 1500 (before crashing). I increased the steps by 100 every time. When spawning wave after wave I could get up to 2000 with fps above 30 (with steps of 1000). After that, the fps went down extremely ^^ Hovering around 7 to 20. (taking steps of 500)The final crash for me came shortly after I spawned the last wave to hit the 8000 mark. (went from 7500 to 8000) But hey :D never went under 5 fps. Edit: Just noticed it. Even the vram went up from 4,3-4,5 to 5,05GB ^^ Edited January 1, 2017 by L3s7ing
jhelzei
Good point! I hadn't tried incrementally increasing the number of cheese wheels. Working up in increments of 250, I was able to get up to 3750 wheels at 9 fps (1080p). At 4000 it locked up hard.
