Deleted36841010User
In my game if any character is without clothes, there is a very severe seam between the bottom of their neck and the rest of their body, to point of looking detached. At first I thought it was just my player character but every other character is like that too. I tried googling and looking on other forums and can't find anyone else having this problem. I'm not using any texture mods and all of my graphics settings are Ultra. Anyone know what might be causing this?I play on PC. I'll provide additional information if you need it. kitcat81
Was it always like this from the game start ? If not then when did it change to this state and mods did you install before it? Edited January 2, 2017 by kitcat81
Deleted36841010User
Was it always like this from the game start ? If not then when did it change to this state and mods did you install before it?I always had noticable seams from day 1, but it may have been exacerbated recently as I had a body texture mod for a while then uninstalled it. The gap between my character's neck and the rest of his body is so big that from some angles I can see through it to the other side lol.
Gilibran
I believe there was always a bit of a neck seam between the head and body textures from the beginning, been playing with cbbe so long i cannot remember tbh, head and body are seperate meshes, do you still have a face texture active? If you do not want to use another body texture you could try using the console, select your character type: SLM close console and choose another setting in the body triangle, this may reset the meshes closer together but i do not think it will solve the seam issue. Best way to fix it is to use CBBE body for females, if your playing a male you can try these textures: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/18466/?tab=2&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Ffallout4%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D18466&pUp=1 unfortunatly there are not many male retexture or body mesh mods yet. kitcat81
If you have not many mods , you can try to uninstall them and check if it fixes the problem. If it still there you can run validate cache in Steam. It should restore broken or missing game files. Then you can install mods again.
