scottym23 Posted January 8, 2012 Share Posted January 8, 2012 The helm of Yngol obtained in Yngol barrow is a type of ancient enchanted Nord armor that looks unique and has decent stats. I was just wondering if there could be other unique cool nord looking armor pieces either related to this helm or not related. There are 2 simple methods to adding a mod to incorporate this idea into the game, one involving Yngol and the other not at all. Idea 1: Involving Yngol, when you pick up his helmet and the bones shatter to the ground, a note also drops to the ground. Upon picking it up and reading this a quest will start called, "The Warrior Time Forgot". The note would be a map showing the location of the next armor piece, such as the treasure map mini quests show. Once you've reached the next location and opened the chest, you'd get another piece of the armor and another map piece leading you to the next location, and let the process repeat until you have all the armor pieces. Then maybe at the end when you equipped all of the armor pieces Yngol's ghost appeared and you had to fight him. Idea 2: Each Jarl would have his own specific quest after completing a certain amount of quests for them (maybe 3 or 5). It would be about clearing out trouble in a certain cave or dungeon where strange occurrences have been happening. In the last area of the cave or dungeon would be a tough monster and a piece of legendary armor. There are 9 Jarls, so the armor pieces could be shield, helmet, armor, gauntlets, boots, necklace, ring, sword, 2h sword (in no particular order). Any other idea would be greatly appreciated!
