TubaHorse
My sister is a fan of Skyrim just as I am, but doesn't have her own system to play it on. So, I let her create a new character on my Skyrim SE. When I came back and tried to open my saves, none of them were there. Only her files. So, I freaked out and checked my saves folder in my Documents folder. All of mine were there, with my last location and everything. I tried deleting hers, no dice. Tried putting mine into a file named after my character, no dice. In the load menu, I get $All and Ringer (sister's character), but not mine. If this can't be fixed there's about to be a missing person report filed.
L3s7ing
So if you just put one of your safe files in the Saves folder and no other, your save doesn't show up? Creating folders inside the Saves directory shouldn't do anything (I'm using one as backup for older characters so they won't get loaded into Skyrim).Do you have Steam Cloud active? Cause sometime ago I had a problem with moving saves and Steam recreating them via the cloud... However, when you only put your save file into the folder, only your character should show up in the character selection, no one else.
