yoyoyo7 Posted January 5, 2017 Share Posted January 5, 2017 The idea being as your attack is about to hit its target; you overextend your swing to generate more force. This is in the form of you whipping your mouse in the direction your weapon is swinging. Something as simple as extra damage, stagger, and perhaps a choice sound effect would add a bit of ferocity and an element of balance and skill. So it would indeed be balanced for the type of weapon being used. For instance, a dagger in its fast attack speed cannot generate the inertia, unless you are extremely skilled in its timing.
