bben46
Yeah, I have lost her on occasion. Usually she shows back up when you go through a door. Or comes running from, an odd direction. However, once in a Falmer cave I found a place where she refused to go forward past a certain spot. She would just stop there and not go any further - the way back you had to jump down from a ledge and she - or any other NPC will not do that so for all intents she was stuck there. I even tried a dragon shout to push her past the spot, and she actually moved backwards toward me instead of away and past the stop point. - Not really lost, as I knew exactly where she was. using the console, type the following 2 lines - be sure to get the spacing right. moveto is one word prID 000A2C94moveto player And she will show up whever you are. The 000A2C94 is Lydia's game reference ID. Every NPC has one and you can do the same thing with any of them if you know that number. There is a different console command that will move you to where she is but that sometimes gives strange results if she is in a non game world cell. There is a list of IDs that you can use somewhere on line. I'm not sure if it works when they are dead or not though.
