Codeslamer
What the title says. I haven't been in the game to see if anything else crashes it but I tried it on all items in the weapons tab and they worked normally. Edit: I've tested it now on all the other item tabs (the items I have on my character atleast) and they all work normally. It's just the apparel. This happens on the default items aswell (the wedding ring, for example). I've been reading around abit and apparently if it does this it's likely to do it when crafting aswell, so some help would be appreciated ((Forgive me if posting this load order doesn't work. I have completly forgotten how to do it)) Instant edit: It worked! Easier than expected. damanding
It's most likely that AWKCR, Armorsmith or an armor mod didn't fully install and the crashing is from missing keywords, meshes or textures. I didn't see the Armorsmith plugins for your outfit mods which would result in missing keywords. Though it seems I remember forgetting to install one once and just couldn't edit the outfit with Armorsmith instead of actual crashes but I can't remember for sure. I could try installing them and see if anything changes. Do you know if anything bad would happen if I were to install one that I didn't need accidently? Or installed one where I didn't have all the outfit mods for?
Codeslamer
Also, would anything be affected if I installed those 2 mods completly and reinstalled them fresh? Also should I install them in any specific order?
Codeslamer
Right, so I have been doing tests (which involved many game restarts. Much to the annoyance of steam friends :D) and turning off armorsmith extended and everything needing it makes it work. Turning it on without the other things breaks it again. I think that is as far as my knowledge will probably take me sadly. I'll keep checking things however
damanding
You don't want the AE Merged versions for Elianora or the author that did the DX items unless you have the full set of mods that the AE Merged plugins cover. In the plugins section of the file tab on Armorsmith read which mods each plugin covers. You need to either have all the mods for the merged pack mods or keep scrolling way down to look for the individual plugins for some of those mods. You may not be able to find individual plugins for each of your mods, but I'm pretty sure there are at least individual plugins for all of Elianora's stuff. As for installing, read the description, all the comment stickies etc. carefully. There are notes on load order somewhere in there. Also when you install the AE plugins for your armors, you always install the armor first then the plugin over it and allow the plugin to overwrite the armor mod. Finally, if you're using the latest version of NMM, it might just not be installing the mods correctly because it's really buggy about that. But it's also possible that AWKCR/AE need updates or were incorrectly installed. They're not simple plug and play mods, you actually need to read all the directions for those and make sure you have all the files you need. So it's probably that they weren't installed correctly or something. Do you know any other way of installing them other than through NMM?
damanding
You can try a manual install. http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Fallout_4_Mod_Installation My current copy/pasta on NMM:The latest versions of NMM are really bad about not properly installing and activating mods. Unfortunately they've also stopped supporting it while they work on a new one from scratch. I suggest either switching to a somewhat older, more stable version of NMM or switching to Mod Organizer 2 which has recently started receiving support again with a new developer. 0.61.21 is a decent stable version: https://github.com/Nexus-Mods/Nexus-Mod-Manager/releasesMod Organizer 2: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/6194/? Codeslamer
And I think we're now good. I got the older NMM because I couldn't figure out MO2, and uninstalled, redownloaded and installed everything. Turns out that having concealed armors and AE installed at the same time (for me atleast) breaks the game. Sure, it's not the perfect solution, but I digress. I probably wouldn't have used the mod anyway. Thanks for helping me sort this out! :)
