Hmm.. only mod i'd recommend, provided you don't have it already, would be Gelnvar Castle. 2 quests to complete to own an amazing castle, plus the author de-activates the activator icons so you don't get kiddie-level help, meaning you have to actually you your brain to complete it :) Of course i like that last part merely coz i have a super-sized brain and wish to exercise it :P

As for tips.... just be yourself, oh that and don't forget the 100% chameleon from enchantments if you go on a killing spree it's so much fun :P

Ya, did Pale Pass and Frostfire Glade. As I was saying before, didn't wanna be a vampire this time as I already messed around alot with it.

I just now started to make some potions..I feel so blind this whole time I could have been making some nice potions from those white mushrooms that seem to be all over every dungeon.

I'll check out the list of side quests too. Everytime I see a new cave I'm afraid to go in because I'm hoping I will do it as part of a story, but would be good to know what are connected to one and what are simply there to loot.

Cool, What's frostfire Glade. I've never been there before or done any such quest.

Frostfire Glade is the location of "Tears of the savior" side quest, it is started by talking to S'Drassa, a Khajiit in the Lewayiin Mages Guild.

It is a nice quest, but don't expect a superb reward.

I just took the short and easy route and just changed that setting in the .ini that jacks the amount of bushes way up, this has probs tho of course, plants appear in endless rows like a grid sometimes, and its not exactly optimized like NE, but my PC being new, can take it.

That said, assuming theres no conflicts, I'm def getting NE going again soon.

And I wanted to say 1 thing quick about cheating to get cash. The first time it did ruin the immersion for me, but this time, I have been using only for things I hated spending money on, like recharging weapons and fixing armor that I can fix myself, houses, and some potions. But never do I go out and look for the most expensive powerful items I can buy, just things that will get me to the next quest faster and spend less time scrounging the countryside for coins. In a perfect world, I would spend 24-7 earning cash, but now the pace is nice and managable without killing the challenge.. Just pref I guess.

I also use that mod that gives you up to 10 minions. I know thats basically cheating too, but I'm much less inclined to turn on god mode because I can always seem to bail myself out in interesting ways with minions. And its not like I'm not breaking a sweat, I just battled several brown bears, the final arena fight, 10 goblins at once, and a liche and several necros, each time just barely surviving. Overall, my adjustments make the game just right for my playstyle. So cheating isn't nessarily bad if you don't abuse it.

Hoarfrost castle mod is a very good one with some quests to do to get the castle and staff. Once you get it you will be amazed with the very nice prot stone you get to use, and the storage areas. Some of the daedra shrine quests are interesting. The nirnroot quest I have read will take you all around looking for the pesky things. Personally I have found that player made quests like hoarfrost and glenvar are a lot better than the DLC addon ones. I also have found the the P1keychain mod, inventory tracker as well as streamline are great add-ons.
