RiverDg1
The Salton Sea used to be highly populated as a tourist site in old California. Sadly, now it is deserted and abandoned and has been for like 60 years. It looks like a great place to inspire some mods New Vegas or something Fallout related. VaultPi
I thought the reason it's currently abandoned is because it's on the Superfund list next to Love Canal, and Three Mile Island of places that count as an actual toxin/nuclear hot zone. Which I guess would make it slightly less dangerous than black mountian. Edited January 10, 2012 by VaultPi
Jeoshua
Those objections do nothing but make this an even better place for a Fallout adventure to take place. Look at the video! It IS the Fallout world.
VaultPi
I think that was what my statement was trying to say.... Of course NCR has to also include Stockton CA as a hotzone, since it holds the US Navy's stockpile of nuclear reactor waste. RiverDg1
I think this place would be great as a reference to the original Fallout 1 & 2. Something like researching the Original Vault Dweller's death site or even the Tribal in Fallout 2. Whatever the case. This place would make a great ANYTHING for the Fallout series.
