JamesBondy
Hello, Im having a simple issue right now. I recently updated my skyrim from version 1.2 to 1.3(Latest Update). While doing that I forgot to uncheck my mods in the NMM like a IDIOT.Now im here wondering since the Update copies over files do they overwrite the Mod Files also? I really dont want to have to download new copies of mods and reinstall all my mods. Any help will help, THX
L3s7ing
Depends on the mods. There're some mods that overwrite game data. Simply reinstalling the mods would be the easiest way to prevent any problems, maybe also update some if you already haven't (not entirely sure what the 1.3 update did back then, but there could be compatibility issues).Of course you could just test your game if anything is wrong ... normally most mods won't get overwritten by updates (due to the use of bsa or esp files). But there's no need to download all mods again to go the safe way. Just reinstall them in that case. (if set up correctly nmm stores mods outside of the skyrim folders and simply install them then into the data directory) Edited January 7, 2017 by L3s7ing
