Belgianfox
Hello, my question was if there is any way to use custom reload animations for a weapon in Fallout 3 instead of the default ones a, b, c, d etc. I have the correct animations and I'm actually just porting the animations from New Vegas to Fallout 3, but after looking through the GECK I can't really figure a way to add custom reload animations as they seem to be hardcoded into the GECK. Is there any way to make new ones? Thanks in advance. :)
micalov
Yes they are hard coded so you can only replace not add new ones, also be careful NV animations for weapons are designed for the NV iron sites and look silly on fo3, at least when I was testing. Belgianfox
@ micalov Ahhhh, that explains it. So there's actually no other way adding new reload animations without hardcoding it into the GECK?
micalov
Pretty much its hard coded into the game. You maybe able to change them on the fly with some funky NVSE stuff if its exists for it, ( know it does for oblivion) but that is about it. Belgianfox
@ micalov Interesting, I'm not experienced with FOSE or scripting though so I wouldn't know how to get to it. Are there any tutorials about this around somewhere? Thanks again. :)
