Ensure:

1) You're snkeaing, and

2) The target is asleep.

The best way to feed is to order a follower to use an un-owned bed and feed on them before then get up again.

I am, but the feeding option is not showing up, and I can't order a follower to, because they attack and kill me.

Hey !!

Not sure if this will fix it but it's worth a try. Go to the wizard Falion and have him cure you from vampirism. He lives in Dawnstar and just in case you're at stage 4 vampire and you're afraid to be seen by the villagers, just wait for Falion to go take a walk in the wild. He often wanders off from the village on his own so you'll be able to go talk to him without alerting the whole village. He's gonna ask you to bring him a Filled Black Soul Gem for the ritual.

Once you're cured ,just go visit another Vampire lair and become a vampire once more .

I know it seems like a lot of trouble but you should be able to get that done in less than 30 minutes and it's better than being stuck at stage 4 vampire without being able to feed.

I personaly never had any trouble while i was a vampire but i remember seeing a video on youtube where the guy became a werewolf while he was a vampire and the game got bugged. When you become a werewolf , you're supposed to be cured from vampirism but he had both curses and he wasn't able to feed as a vampire anymore at all. So he was stuck at stage 4 vampire , he still had all of his vampire abilities but he wasn't able to feed anymore.

In one of the comments , one guy said that it was the 1.3 patch that caused this bug to occur. Since then , i saw plenty of other comments from other people who said that patch 1.3 had messed up their game more than anything so in my case , i decided to never download that update. I'm playing with the original version of skyrim and even though i do have to deal with some bugs, i'm just not willing to add more bugs to the list.

Anyways , i hope this post helps your vampire feeding problem a bit .
