SSE Freeze still playing music

Hey everyone, :smile:

 

Just like most of us have probably experienced one time or another, I am having crashes with a big modlist but no idea which one is causing it (or which conflicting ones).

The only difference is that I seem to be having weird crashes where the game freezes and the music keeps playing instead of the usual CTD (I can stil tab away though, could be a SSE thing, not sure, have you guys experienced it?).

 

I have already tried removing some of the mods and playing the game, but the crashes are so random (usually in exterior cells and within major cities though) that it

just takes too much time. It could be about half an hour or longer until a crash occurs and sometimes it's 5 minutes or less in but it's just too often to really be playable :sad:.

 

I am using LOOT, wrye bash for the merged patch and Nexus mod manager.

 

I am running the game on everything maxed out and I actually do have quite a decent\stable FPS even with all the mods (50 sometimes 40 and lower, but not that often). I do see that the GPU and VRAM are getting almost maxed/maxed, but that "should" not be the culprit. Also, I am not using the best textures in the mods where I could choose because I don't want to push it too far.

 

I am also not experiencing this issue in any other game.

 

In the papyrus logs I am unable to see anything of significance except for a lot of crap about unable to find some SKSE stuff... (obviously though)

 

My specs:

 

OS: Windows 10

GPU: GTX 1050 (2GB VRAM)

CPU: AMD FX8350 (4.0 GHz, 8 cores)

Motherboard: MSI 970 gaming

RAM: 8GB DDR3

 

Latest NVIDIA drivers are installed

Windows == up to date
