ThinkAloud
Hello community! When starting Oblivion, either normally or with Obse_Loader, the game displays a small black screen like a cmd prompt, flashes momentarily, and then returns to the desktop. If, however, I disable all of my mods the game will boot up normally. The problem is that I am unable to understand which mod(s) is causing the trouble. Could anyone help me out? I've tried guess and check for a while without any such luck. Below is a list of my current mods. -Thank-you for any help! Guest
Well you can disable all the mods and click one at a time and try them and to see which one is the problem but that might take a while :DD

I can't understand the conflict report OBMM gives me.
bben46
Just a quick look shows 2 possible problems -The keychain mod requires inventory tracker it has an esm (mod master) that I don't see in your list. Also, the DLC Horse armor cause me quite a few problems when I used it. the worst was when armored, Shadowmere disappeared from the game completely after a while. OBMM is good for finding most mod conflicts. Wrye Bash is even better, but harder for a non geek to figure out. The way I use to figure out a mod that is causing problems is to disable half of them at a time, then when you find out which half has the problem, disable half of that half. continue cutting the problem in half until you find it. Then make sure it works with all mods except that one.. Works well until you have 2 mods misbehaving. A lot of the conflicts shown in OBMM will not cause any problems. Wrye Bash is better at showing actual conflicts and what causes them.
