Load Order Assistance

Hey everyone,

This will probably sound stupid but since I play primarily on console (XB1) mods are much more difficult for me. While i've had mods on XB1 fallout 4 since they became available, it reached the point where my load order was so out of whack (so many categories and I had no idea what I was doing) that it caused massive frame drops and constant crashes so I stopped playing. While I got a lot better with dealing with mods for Skyrim special edition, fallout 4 has many more categories of mods so I really could use some help. It's a long list and by no means do I expect anyone to completely reorder for me (it would REALLY HELP :) though) but any tips or pointers would be great for a proper fallout 4 load order.

The thing is , your not dropping frame rates because you have " to much mods " it drops because of cell loads, LOD distance , and mods munipulating scripts and how the game works ( and when you dont know what your doing , or if you are like me you go insane and download every mod you see, you end up shuffling the games inner working and then re shuffling them again .. thats why its best to mod on a pc because you can get wyre bash , fallout 4 edit and fix these things or make bashed patches .

1. im sorry no one else has gotten back to you on this and i myself was getting a refresher on load order .

2. if you have any questions like this go to -- GOPHER -- on youtube the guy is a genius and has helped me a lot when i modded to death skyrim .

3. im not really sure if you are solely using xbox or pc ? , but never uninstall heavy or scripted mods once you have installed them , it basically leaves your save game like swiss cheese its best to just deactivate .

4. a helpful tip , if a mod seems to good to be true it is , always check the comments and bug section . if the mod comes off as so crazy and epic with all these new things but has a lot of ctd complaints stay the hell away until you know you can install it without a worry , always back up your saves , games and profiles , have a back up copy of your game ( if on pc ) it will save you soooo much time I cant tell you how many times i had to re install skyrim from steam and it sucks ..

5. ok so your load order , ( always keep a copy of a working load order when you get it where you like , for me if i move a mod around and it stops working i dont want to go back and forth with every mod until i find out what works again )

-- your load order looks ok to me but you can tweak it , if your on xbox the brass of it is that consoles suck because they are cheaply made and dumbed down . but for your sake try and order the mods in this way ,

@Niwasaki

You have a lot of weapon mods. Those frequently conflict with one another if they add weapons to the leveled lists to make them appear in either vendor's inventories or on NPCs unless they used scripted injection to the leveled lists and not all do. I highly recommend looking for those mods on the Nexus site and reading their descriptions, stickies, bug reports here. Nexus doesn't limit mod authors to ridiculously small character limits for mod descriptions. Plus many of the mod authors that originated here on Nexus have more modding experience than those who got their start modding when Betheda.net started hosting mods and are therefore aware of things like leveled list conflicts (and thus at least mention the potential for conflicts like that).

I noticed you have Universal Missing Menus. I couldn't find that on Bethesda.net, but if it works the same as the Universal Menu Fixer on Nexus, then you don't want it running constantly. You install it only long enough to fix the menus then uninstall it. The one on Nexus will prevent mods which script inject menus from injecting their menus as long as that mod is running.
