Bug: Codex not updating

Hello,

I'm playing a heavily modded game, as usual, and I've spent the past few days trying to get them to play nice together. In my playthrough I've encountered a few bugs, but this one I cant figure out.

 

A few times when I loot something and the codex is supposed to update, and a quest is supposed to start, it doesn't . This has happened three times so far, and Im only in Lothering. The first two times were in the korcari wilds. When I searched missionary jogbys body I found his will. This should have updated the codex and started the last will and testament quest. Not long after, I looted the soldiers body and got the ashes, yet I didnt have the option to sprinkle them on the stones. The third time was the templars body when you first enter lothering. I got the note and locket, but no codex or quest. The items (locket, ashes, will etc) show up in my inventory, but the game doesnt realize i have them somehow, and the quests arent starting. I've gotten around this problem by using the 'add any item visual deluxe mod (1825)'. I add these items again (giving me 2 of each in my inventory), and the quest/codex updates like it should.

 

I always play with lots of mods, but this hasnt happened before. A few mods I'm playing for the first time are

 

quests and legends

craggy island

dialogue tweaks

ZDF

IRS

MRP

 

These last 4 are pretty dialogue heavy, but are supposed to play nice together.

 

Has anyone encountered this before? I'm patched to 1.4, all DLCs, and 100+ mods. I know that its inevitable that I will encounter bugs with this many mods, but I've read hundreds of readmes the past few days trying to minimize them. A few other mods that might be part of the conflict are

 

Improved atmosphere

BSC

Flashes creature rescale

smarter enemies

awakening in the oc

expanded shapeshifting

advanced party, quickbar, and tactics

etc.

 

If anyones encountered this before and solved it, I'd very much appreciate it

one more question. Does anyone know which mod adds a master trainer to the camp at ostagar that lets you multi class?
