It can't hurt to just try the mod in SSE, as long as you make a backup. I know Ordinator has some support for spell sneak attacks, but I personally think it's kinda underwhelming. You'd probably get more out of it if you actually play a mage character, I was just screwing around on a melee character.

Ordinator's spell sneak attack is actually quite good. 3% per sneak skill, yea it starts off small but at 100 sneak, boom 300% more damage. I do wish it would notify you like a weapon's sneak attack however.

Although it may seem a bit intimidating it is actually quite easy to convert old mods to the special edition all you need is a bsa unpack-er and the nif optimization tool along with the creation kit. If you understand folders and archive it should be fairly simple. Manually download the mod, run both tools, and install it via the nexus mod manager. If you are using a texture mod then youre done, however for the mod you listed you need to load it up in the creation kit change a name, change it back, save it and then your done.
