Pronam
Some elaboration on the type of games or engines planned for use might be useful. Starting to 'create' games like asking people to 'join a mod team' without having any plan. Games are more freeform, but still I think it would catch the eye of more people if you'd have at least something planned. What are your own skills btw? Vagrant0
Best bet for an indie company is to start with something you already have and are able to produce, then look around for people who live near you and know in person to help supplement those skills you aren't as good with. Doing this sort of thing over the internet is by and large a big waste of time both for yourself (in constantly trying to find people to make up for AWOL members), and others (in doing work which suddenly gets scrapped because the project changes suddenly and communication is irregular). If just starting out, the standpoint of "I'm the boss, I'll just coordinate stuff and make decisions" simply does not ever work, EVER. That sort of position just leads to team members who never produce anything because they usually don't feel like the project belongs to them, or that they are doing all the work for someone who doesn't really understand the demands which are being made. See PHB...
