TolarisOmega Posted January 11, 2012 Share Posted January 11, 2012 One of the things I've learned watching programs, is that the baseball bat swing for weapons of all kinds, is often, just plain wrong.If you notice, the Greatswords in Skyrim have leather around the blade above the guard. In medieval Europe its called the Ricasso. That's for the wielder's other hand to increase control. You can tell thrusting weapons from swinging weapons by their shape.Weapons like dirks, rapiers, and foils are thrusting weapons. The Roman Gladius was as well I think.Weapons like cutlass', scimitars, sabres and katanas are swinging weapons. Furrywolf Posted January 11, 2012 Share Posted January 11, 2012 I would like more weapon animations and different animations for some weapons. Or just your standing animation for weapons! Like when using dual-weapons, for ie. 2 swords, you stand with one arm high over your head in attack mode with the sword in each hand. And when you move the mouse or just take a step forward you lower the weapons for what I think is the ''running'' or ''walking'' animation with dual-weapons. Looks weird that every time I'm walking around in 3r person and picking things up and just moving around to see I swap between these 2 modes several times in 3-5 seconds. So I'm waving the weapons up and down like crazy :P So my point is... different/new standing animations and stances would be cool! :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
