LE Send Lucia and Sofie to Honorhall Orphanage

When Aventus Aretino was orphaned, he was sent by Jarl Ulfric to Honorhall Orphanage. Would it be possible for a mod where the player tells the Jarls in Whiterun and Windhelm about Lucia and Sofie so they get sent there as well?

 

Alternatively, the player could tell Lucia and Sofie directly about the orphanage and they go there themselves.

 

I find Lucia and Sofie's situations the most tragic of all the orphans in the game and always feel too guilty to not adopt them. I know the orphanage isn't the best place, but it has to be better than sleeping outside, starving, or, in Sofie's case, potentially freezing to death...

I second this. It's certainly a much better place for them to go once you kill Grelod, and every player will invariably kill Grelod upon entering the orphanage, regardless of their intentions regarding the Dark Brotherhood questline. Why? Because Grelod deserves to be sent to the Deadlands, made immortal, and tortured forever and ever until the very end of time. She's just that evil.

Ugh I want this mod to exist as well. I don't feel like being the dragonborn makes my character a good parent at all but that doesn't mean I want the virtual children to virtually suffer.

I am in total agreement. This should definitely be done. Get the kids off the street. I also thought it was sad for the Solitude boy. Sleeping in the stable with the horses for scraps of food like he's a dog. Perhaps the player can talk to the slave-laborers and make them treat the children better or send them to the orphanage before you inform the Yarl. If sandboxing doesn't allow them to go to the orphanage, maybe the player can take them to a guild. The twins went to the Companions as children and Aela basically grew up there as well. Besides the old lady could use the help. Children stealing food? Thieves in the making and a network of information (think Oliver Twist). Ol Bryn might comment how they don't run a orphanage too which you can say 'That's the beauty of it, they are in the orphanage, and can be the guilds unsuspecting eyes and ears. In exchange we help Constance feed shelter and educate them, privately of course. Little Assassin's? Aventus is twisted enough. Maybe Babette could teach him, turn him, and be a cute little couple.
