Game freezes just before loading into main menu (Not a load order issue!)

Hi there,

 

Fresh install of New Vegas with a small load order, the game begins to freeze at the main menu when I go over 70 plugins (perhaps unrelated, only leed I have after hours of tinkering)

 

The game does not crash, it just freezes and locks up my computer. I have to sign out to close the program.

 

Load order has been sorted by LOOT and run through FNV Edit both were fruitless.

 

I have also reset the ini files back to default, and using Mod Organizer have tested the game with nothing installed, and it works fine.

 

I'm using NVAC, nvse is correctly installed, my launcher is patched for 4gb and a merged patch does not seem to help.

 

It appears as though it is not a single bad mod causing the crashes, having tested running the game with every single mod loaded individually.

Maybe a conflict, I'm really clueless.

Fresh install of FNV, and keeping with a minimalist load order by following Fear and Loathing in New Vegas guide, but just trimming the number of mods down significantly.

Turns out it was my overwolf overlay cuasing the game to crash, simply closed it and now works fine.
