help with OBSE & Deadly Refex

I have no idea what Im doing . Kind of new to these modded games so keep that in mind :biggrin: Well Im trying to play with deadly reflex mod which requires the OBSE . So I DL the OBSE V0014a copied the 5 dll files and the OBSE loader to C:/ Programs files (x86) /Bethesda softwork/Oblivion . Then I lauched it through the OBSE loader which started the game with out the the frist icon that pops out that gives u the options . I check the OBSE loader report it reads....dll=c7934c86c....d11=C\Programs(x86)\Bethesda softworks\Oblivion\ obse_1_2_416d11.....hook base=001800....Load libaryAAddr=76AA59AE....hook tread complete.....Lauching obivion...(thought I put that up in case it helps) . Then I tried the desktop lauch icon which started the game normaly with the lauch options .

 

Then I extracted the Deadly Reflex files to C\Program files(86)\Bethesda softwork\Odlivion\data and said yes to all changes since I could nt active the deadly reflex data files througfh the ODSE loader like I said before it starts the game with out any options So I actived them through the OMM (have the v1.1.9 version) Started the game just when its about to load a game it crashes and says that Oblivions stopworking bah bah bah..

 

So Im thinking did I install the OBSE right the games lauched good after I installed it but I did nt think it was working or is it the Deadly Reflex mod thats causing this problem after I in stalled the mod thats when I could nt open a save game and I tryed a new game asked if I wanted to start a new game clicked yes but the game never lauches it dose nt crash just would nt kick in

Your post is a little disjointed and sometimes hard to follow. What I think you said is that it doesn't seem to start Deadly Reflex when you start Oblivion using the Oblivion Icon on your desktop.

 

If that is it, then what I suspect is the OBSE is not being started. To use OBSE you must start it before starting Oblivion EVERY TIME. I don't remember if OBSE includes a launcher or not. If not, then I recommend OBMM (Oblivion Mod Manager) which includes an OBSE launcher as well as a good mod manager as well as some other good features. be sure to read the readme as I don't think the launcher is automatic, but must be enabled before it will work.
