Knights of the Nine end problem

I am having a problem at the end of KOTN. after the final reward is gained, the knight comes to search you in the undercroft. he says come with me, but he remains stuck there and does not follow, so the knights out in the open wander around aimlessly. how can I fix it?

I have given this advise tons of times, but here I go again.

Open the console (~)

Select him and type resurrect, this resets his script to the stage. meaning he will most obviously run outside, except if you messed with the script or have a corrupted mod running,

thanks. sorry for the late answer but I have mononucleosis so I had to take a brief trip to hospital. this will also work for every other mod with a similar problem?
