SirFrank114
Is there a way to send in your problems, directly to Bethesda support? I've sent several reports to them via Steam and from their Web Site regarding Skyrim, New Vegas, Oblivion. I never receive any acknowlegment and calling is a waste of time and money. While my problems are not Super Major I think they are common and could and should be fixed. Thanks to NEXUS for having sites like this to help thousands of players like me. Nirrtix
The newest patch made the game much slower and laggy and practically unplayable unless you want to run it on minimal settings. Previously I could run the game with medium settings on a high resolution. I cannot get a vanilla version of the game to roll back to a working version, because I bought the game on steam. I e-mailed Bethesda like you did, but I received no response. I think they should give me a copy of the game one way or another that is uncorrupted by their horrid patches. duchessnukem
Your problems are heard by Bethesda. Trust me. Post any issues on the official Skyrim forums or here (but the official forums are checked more frequently), and they will be seen. People won't acknowledge your issues directly on the forums mainly because there are certain rules at Bethsoft that restrict how much certain levels of employees can reply, because they might "misrepresent" the company. Speaking of which, please don't tell anyone I posted this. But yeah, the forums are being checked all day, every day by most people at Bethesda. They just can't tell you that. SirFrank114
Thank you. You seem to keep a very low profile with only 4 posts and being around since 07. You may actually be real and know what you're talking about. However, if Bethesda DOES keep score of problems with their products, why do players (like myself) need to come to sites like this to get a game running or to fix hundreds of little errors? I'm sure its not good busness to try and fix a problem once the product leaves the factory and you've made your sale. Three years from now, when you come out with ES6 no one will remember Skyrim and its problems. I'm still pissed at the quality of ES2, Daggerfall!!! Worst game I ever TRIED to play. That's a very good question, and I wish I could answer it for you. Business models here are weird. And I could get in trouble for all of this, but I'm just a lowly QA tester. It sucks, because everyone constantly s***s on us, but half the time we find these issues, and the devs don't fix them in time. It's so frustrating, especially when we see forum posts saying "Bethesda didn't test this game!111 they sux" and whatnot. Anyway, PM me and I'll give you my work email and you can contact me directly with any issues you have. Same goes to anyone else who wants a QA tester to actually bring issues to the attention of the staff if they haven't been already. And yeah, I couldn't get past the first 5 minutes of Daggerfall. What a fail. Edited January 18, 2012 by duchessnukem
