WarriorWithin83
Why should I obey and kill that guy for a stupid mace? In my case this stupid mace is the best melee weapon i've had so far, this game is very big and complex and there are many ways to go with it. My question is not as easy as seem and compared to the answer given too,but imply more behind :-) I try to be more specific: why I can't (for example) destroy the altar with his mace instead use it for sadistic purpose? break it down, maybe then they come inside some daedra and I have to kill them.. then (for example intended again) I hear the call of Thalos who says: your actions proove you are worth of my call, come to my altar "here" you have be proud that... etc" anyway... hope ck will come out soon I want to improve base game with things like these. Skyrim hides very high potential, and a lot of work can be done to make it the best rpg game ever made, an example for everyone also on the years to come Edited January 13, 2012 by WarriorWithin83
gigantibyte
Now that I think of it, yes, there should probably be more wolves in a pack, but on Master I've already experienced being assaulted by 5 bears simultaneously, or there was this place near Riften by the Orc Stronghold that got me attacked by 3 wolves, 2 bears and 2 Trolls. That's not really "too few enemies" now would it? Maybe some guys were keeping too close to the road? While I do agree that in some dungeons there should be more enemies, I think it should be set so as not to be too hard. After my character got a bit too overpowered and not dying anymore, I decided to play with handicap (still not finished with some quests). I am using non enchanted equips with no ring or amulet, and everything is unsmithed except for the Glass Bow which was smithed without item bonuses. I need like somewhere between 10-20 shots to down a Draugr Overlord, while they need just 2 to send me to oblivion. Granted, my character is a Bosmer with only 350 health at level 58, since I upped my Stamina for power attacks dual weilding when anybody gets close, and some magicka as well, so I'm probably easy to kill. Actually I just decided a while ago to leave my overpowered Elf as he is for now and started with a mage type character. With this it would be more difficult to exploit the smithing perks if I wanted to. I plan to make a mage that does not use the Destruction tree, just Conjuration, Illusion and Alteration as the main trees. No armor to use the mage armor perk too (so no overpowered armors), and since I'll be using conjured weapons with my summons, no smithing or enchantment exploits for weapons as well. Using the smithing-enchanting-alchemy exploit is only detrimental anyhow. The steps required are boring as hell to go through, and at the end when you have near god-like stats, what's left to play for? May as well have saved yourself the time and toggle god mode. Of course I only mentioned wolf behavior as 1 example, not wanting to rehash what's already been suggested on how to improve immersion. Many of the Immersion qualities I'd like to see would not be feasible, off balance the game, or even break it. The quest mechanics are shakey at best, and don't react kindly to unexpected maneuvers.
