cchoay
What the title states. To be more specific, everytime I try to load the falloutNV.esm, it just becomes unchecked instead. I've tried downloading the newest (v1.4) but geck is still giving me this problem. How do I solve it?
FafnirTheDragon
I'm not sure why it doesn't load for you, but there are few things, that will make sure it will  1. It may be caused by loading multiple master files. Go to your documents, find New Vegas folder and GeckCustom.ini. Find line bAllowMultipleMasterLoads=0 and change 0 to 1.2. Install GECK PowerUP - fork, as it's essential upgrade for all GECK users. Edited January 12, 2012 by FafnirTheDragon
cchoay
No you don't understand. I'm not even trying to load multiple masters. just attempting to load falloutnv.esm by itself will not work. Anyways, I tried your method but falloutnv.esm is still not loading in geck. FafnirTheDragon
It sounds like you are using wrong GECK version. Check for most recent one, if you aren't able to load any other files besides FalloutNV.esm.

cchoay
After repeated reinstalls GECK is finally working for me even though I still don't know what caused the initial problem. Thanks for the help anyway
Jeoshua
Also, could be caused by having the NAM files in your Data Directory and not turning on the multiple masters tweak in your Geck Custom file.
