StuartM
Someone out there needs to redo Arvel the Swift... and other notable Dunmer (Erandur maybe?). Thinking about trying this one, Skyrim's voice system seems more flexible than that of Oblivion, certainly.
camarada78
I have a professional recording studio. But it is in Rio de Janeiro (Brasil) I would gladly spare some free hours to improve that with good voice actors, actually i thought of that before reading this post (awesome idea OP). I planned to record some myself, but i'm not an actor, so it might get bad. If one of you, with good english, is around here, we can rec that. A script would be nice, containing phrases, jokes, briefing and so (with guides to intonation, interpratation and prose). ***I've added a Troll FX I've made for a friends project. gahnzz
The problem I am having is figuring out how to link audio files with existing lip synch records in the CK. The default way is to simply record the dialogue live directly into the CK. Can't seem to figure out how to upload a variety of files for X NPC to pull from... Rotate the camera to be behind the person talking or put it in an angle that it is not possible to see that the syncing is kinda wrong. I mean, is that even possible? (i play skyrim in third person). AFAIK that wouldn't solve our problem. I wouldn't want to control the camera every time a guard speaks - that could get dizzying!
ChromeWarriorXIII
I'm definitely in for this. I just got my new microphone today so now I'm actually equipped to help. Where should I start?
gahnzz
Actually, with the CK in its current state, you can only record voice for new NPC's. Yes, there is a way to go through and re-voice an existing NPC but I don't think anyone has sussed out the logic that the CK uses to select which voice to play when for the generic NPC's. Until it can be figured out, replaced or made easier - this is well above my ability to do... If someone else wants to jump in and run with this, by all means because I don't know where to take it at this time.
Saratje
I could try some lines, don't got an excellent mic though, but can remove the noise pretty okay. Depends on spare time and what accent is needed or what accent is definitely not desired (as I'm not a native English speaker). I'd probably fit in best for a somewhat stoic, strict or otherwise snobby female character (bit of a younger Maven or Mirabelle), preferably not too pitched or sweetened (prefb. no Ingun or Camilla voiced roles). Maybe a wild idea but it could help modders greatly if we could insert some sort of 'Microsoft Sam' in CK who can turn written text into spoken text quite well. It wouldn't sound good on humans, but it may do miracles with a little Daedra or Dragon voice filter over it.
