PoorPaddy89
I'm no use on the modding side, but real happy with testing and certainly up for voice acting! I wonder if you could give different accents to different holds? Might be interesting.

Deleted3463132User
Good to see some movement on this idea! The first step is to get all the dialogue from the guards. When the CK comes out tomorrow (!!!) I'll start pulling out the scripted lines and putting them into the document. First off, I'll do Riverwood and Whiterun which will cover those specific cities. Logically, I think there are global random for dialogue and city specific. I'll start with the city specific. Anyone else want to jump in and claim a city or hold? We'll see how it's all separated tomorrow but getting a hand transcribing stuff is the first major step. What I'm thinking, in terms of priority to start are: 1) Guards2) Bandits3) Necromancers4) Vendors What think? Great! But I think you shoud put necromancers last and bandits 3rd! Cururaukar
Excelent idea! I checked the actual voice actors on skyrim from IMBD since it seemed there was only a handfull, but to my big supprice there was +30. Problem was there is only 2 guys who do all the non-key nord male characters. And we see them everywhere. Don´t get me wrong. I think voices in skyrim are superb, but those nord males have too few voice actors. I have a decent mic (shure57), I could lend my voice to this and since I am from finland I have little accent even thou I don´t hear it myself. Might work since most of the guards sound nordic. Hopefully I have something to give on this one.
obsidianoceans
I'm totally willing to record voice tracks. Just email me what you want me to say! I record my own songs, and have even done a few skyrim bard songs for fun on youtube. I'll post a link to one of them so you can hear the quality of the recording. (whether you like my voice or not is up to you!) But I can do speaking, yelling, singing..whatever you want, I'd love to get involved somehow with some voice mods, or new bard mods or whatever! I also have access to one of those elusive females, and I'm sure she'd like recording stuff too! but yeah, feel free to contact me anytime. email is best as i don't check the nexus forums everyday, but i am usually checking the mods on the main site, so you could try contacting me there too. email is oceansofobsidian AT gmail dot com. TALE OF THE TONGUES COVER: AGE OF OPPRESSION COVER: (recorded with webcam, not a studio mic like 'tale of the tongues') Edited February 9, 2012 by obsidianoceans

gahnzz
Okay - using the CK I exported all the dialogue script that is set as Guard - Male. The link is: http://www.gahnzz.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/Guard-Dialogue.docx It's about 44 pages. I'll be testing this weekend to figure out the best settings to use and how to drop them in-game. When recording, if you can match the pace of the original actor, that'd be great so we won't have to futz with the lip-synch files. I'm new to the CK and am still learning my way around... With the guards you don't have to worry so much as most of them have helmets on! :D
