ReaperTai
Hello, I have been helping some folks with testing mods and am looking for a free video recorder to allow for better reports as opposed to just screenshots that don't always show the issue exactly. Doesn't have to be super high def wonder stuff just something that can show things in motion. Was browsing the net and found a lot of them and wondering if any recommendations out there. Undivide
Well, if you have an Nvidia GPU, there's Nvidia Share (Formerly Nvidia Shadowplay).Another good free recorder is OBS, which is something many people use for streaming, but it's also great for just recording. ReaperTai
Have a nvidia graphics card but can't even get updates for it through nvidia. Can never connect to server. Will check out the OBS one though. Not trying to post stuff on youtube or anything. An example of what I am doing: was testing a mod other night and was sliding across the floor like was in water. Impossible to show in a screen shot. Or texture issues for another example. @Undivide- thank you and will check it out.
AGreatWeight
I'd definitely recommend OBS for recording game footage.

BenevolentSpirit
If you have windows 10 you can record by simply pressing win+alt+rThe captures go to your videos folder or you can see them in your xbox live thing where there is also a trim feature
