Clothing Overhaul?

Well, I thought it'd be hard, but I won't know how hard. Anyway, that's not what I want to talk about. In regards to "convenience" because some things require high disposition (say, maybe, buying a house, getting a beggar to tell you where Gray Fox is...) that's exactly the reason why people can consider taking speechcraft instead, because of the convenience the skill might give. If the lockpicking restriction hadn't made some kind of skill balancing in exchange with some inconvenience...

And with the way the game is done, you say 40 - 60 gold isn't hard to come by. Which is perhaps what makes bribing feels so cheap. If you're to add realism to the game, when you bribe a cop in real life... you're probably not gonna try bribing it with just $50 for some forbidden information... perhaps another thing can be added into the game: amount of gold you're willing to spend to bribe. Perhaps if you choose 10 gold, the person will just mock at you, gets his disposition lowered and rejected it outright. Whereas a 50 gold will raise the disposition only a little bit, and 500 gold will make this person whatever you want (greatly increases his disposition).

Of course the idea is that it'll suck if you're a Dunmer and everybody just hates you, and it makes it hard for you to get through quests that require ample persuasion... as long as it's not impossible, and there are other ways to give the possibility for a Dunmer to FINALLY barely persuading someone to do something... it'll add another new dimension and now you can feel the difference when you're being hated. Perhaps you'll feel like an Orc wishing to be a High Elf to be skilled at magic... as much as a Dunmer wishes to be an Imperial just so everybody will love you.
