autumnsky38
Hi everyone. I wasn't sure where this post belonged so I thought I'd post here and maybe you can move me if you need to. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to put different clothes on your followers and if it is, is it something that can be done now or something we'll all have to wait for the Creation Kit in order to do? Thanks so much,Tracy, who is tired of seeing her Skyrim hubby in the same ol' armor all the time! :)
WildDragonfly
Hi Tracy ^_^ I came across a topic on this, and while I haven't tested any of the options myself there seem to be a couple ways to go about it. Change NPC Clothes. Have you already tried these?
chanchan05
For default followers like the mercenaries, they need to equip clothes that are better than their current equips and that they must of be of the same type. For example, Lydia won't wear fur armor because she's already wearing iron. And she won't wear elven armor because its light armor and she likes heavy armor. She will wear dwarven, ebony, daedric, steel and iron though.
autumnsky38
Thanks you guys. I haven't tried that link but I will, and I appreciate all the info! I'm going to see what I can do for hubby and then maybe the other followers I like to bring with me. Wish me luck! :) Tracy
