Shogai Posted January 13, 2012 Share Posted January 13, 2012 So this seems to be a very rare case as an hour of google searching, reading multiple forums, and other nonsense: my game decided not to load Rodlak in the Companion's Guild and I had to talk to him to start the join quest.I used the console commands to try locating/creating him. He doesn't go through the entire dialogue to join as he should; he says "Come to join? [some other line]" and just stops talking. No quest advancement or anything. Then I also noticed that Lydia randomly disappeared in my save file. Here's a list (in order of attempts) of stuff I tried to fix it: -Tried loading older save files-Tried player.moveto X to locate the "lost" NPC-Tried player.placeatme X n to create the NPC-Tried a new game file-Tried uninstallation-Tried complete uninstallation through third-party software to completely eradicate all traces of Skyrim on registry, HDD, etc. So far, nothing.
