Frequent freezing without CTD/Error messages

I've been having very frequent game freeze issues occurring in both the open world and in a few interior locations such as Breezehome. I've yet to freeze while in a dungeon, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time. In addition to this, my save files quickly become 'corrupted' each session (5-10 minutes at most of play time); I cannot reload games - but I can still save just fine - without restarting Skyrim. I lose a lot of dialogue functionality when the save becomes 'corrupt', but all functionality is returned upon restarting the game. My only guesses for the dialogue functionality problems is some conflict between RDO and AFT, though I've got the compatibility patch for them. Would it be possible that the freezes are due to my music mod replacer trying to find a missing file? I don't see why that would be the case as there are no music changes upon freezes, nor does music (or audio in general) stop when the game freezes. However, I did uninstall some of the music that my music mod had recommended, and I don't recall freezing before removing some of it. This is the music mod I have: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/4625/? I uninstalled the dungeon music and improved combat music mods.

It just occurred to me that the freezing could be a result of Interesting NPCs; I did install it at the same time I started a new character (and uninstalled the above listed music mods), but I didn't start freezing at all until ~8 hours in I think, whereas a new character will now start freezing within the first hour or two of play. On my current character, freezes can be anywhere from instant to 90 minutes of playtime. The version of INPC that I have is directly from the author's blog and is in a loose file format; he calls it an "alpha" version only because the CK crashes whenever he tries to save it; he didn't fully test it but it was supposedly working for him (and it's working for me just as intended).



I don't believe the crashes are a result of my hardware although I do have quite a few texture packs and an ENB. I'm running a lower resolution monitor (1360x768) with an I7-4790k and a 970.

I'm also using textures from the original game; I don't know enough to see any reason a texture replacer from the original game wouldn't work. Here's the list of those:

 

Noble Skyrim (SE version + SMIM patch)

amidianBorn Book of Silence - armors, creatures, dragonborn, weapons, unique items (overwritten by unique uniques for conflicting textures), content addon, caves & mines, landscapes, skyforge & brown wolf armor, and immersive armor retextures

Update: Cause is not from having Interesting NPCs active. Started a new character and still froze a few minutes into my second session. Also, as suspected, music mod is not an issue. Reinstalled music mod and game still freezes.

Hey dude, I was googling the same problem, saw this..

Here's a possible fix:

You have Celtic music installed right? Do you also have Stop the Orchestra suggest by Celtic music's mod page?

If so remove that mod, I did and I wasn't able to recreate the freeze.
