nopopup
Because there is no Creation Kit for now, I tried to make my newly meshed helm to appear in skyrim by replacing No Helmet Mod's daedric helmet which is in the data\mesh\armor\daedric folder so that I can get my new helm by typing player.additem "daedric helm's id". So I exported my new mesh with BSdismember, from 3ds max into nif using the export/importer and loaded it with nifskope. it looks completely fine in the nifskope with textures showing properly but in game, the mesh is not appearing but the texture is. Thank you for your help
d0kefish
So you have the new texture on the old model? Are you sure you put the .nif in the right folder, and did you export them both to male and female?

Thank you for your help well, firstly gotta ask that you made a helmet and intend to using it ingame but you using no helmet mod ? does'nt sound right to me.. second, it should be "data/meshes/armor/daedric".. third, kinda weird that if texture are showing up but not the mesh, coz it will ussualy will give you a big angry exclamation mark (mesh lost or wrong name) or there is nothing at all after you equip it..maybe you can post a picture fourth, is this your first time to bring new mesh ingame ? if not, im sure theres something missed to set with the new mesh (the nif file).. nopopup
thank you guys for replying The solution was to use the openfacehelmet mod and change the bsdismemberment property's number to
tenshiryuu
The funny thing is I'm having the same issue with swords. The mesh was placed in 'Data\meshes\weapons\iron' and the textures in 'Data\textures\weapons\iron' which is where the files are referenced from the originals. The old longsword mesh is in game with the new textures which were supposed to be for the new sword mesh. Looks kinda wonky.
