Patton171
Ey Guys I'm kinda new to modding in fallout .. I've found my way in geck thanks to some great tutorials. But what I don't know is how to export files like armor, helmets and weapons for example to adjust in autodesk 3ds max. Is there a way to export armor/helmets as an .obj file or something? micalov
GECK cannot edit mesh properties beyond applying new texture sets to mesh block, for more advanced stuff like exporting as obj files etc you need nifskope. Edit: but there might be an importer/exporter to directly import and export nif files for 3dmax ( not sure myself use blender)

Oh I said btw that I wanted to export the model (the 3d model) but I'd also like to know how to export the textures that go with it. AlfredTetzlaff
You cannot export anything with the GECK, but what do you mean by exporting? Getting the .nif/.dds Files out of the Archives, meaning BSAs?For that you have to extract those BSAs, you can do that with the Fallout Mod Manager for example.
