Exporting files (armor) with geck

Ey Guys

I'm kinda new to modding in fallout .. I've found my way in geck thanks to some great tutorials. But what I don't know is how to export files like armor, helmets and weapons for example to adjust in autodesk 3ds max. Is there a way to export armor/helmets as an .obj file or something?

GECK cannot edit mesh properties beyond applying new texture sets to mesh block, for more advanced stuff like exporting as obj files etc you need nifskope.

Edit: but there might be an importer/exporter to directly import and export nif files for 3dmax ( not sure myself use blender)

Yeah I read something about a nifimporter but that still leaves the question on how to export .nif files from geck .. any idea? Oh I said btw that I wanted to export the model (the 3d model) but I'd also like to know how to export the textures that go with it.
