gandalftw
These are all from a journal i found,in a stored box, from a much younger and idealistic me.I think i was 20 or there about. The king has swallowed the bitter poisonThe queen is out of thymeA lawyer's in the kitchentrying to make a rhymeThe jester captures dawnin the instance of her birthIn solemn retributionshe steals away his mirthAnd the light from the candles flickerthrowing shadow shapes to and froIn the night my visions give me cause to wonderwhat is the meaning of it all. gandalftw
The words of a fool Flow fruitlessly forwardOnly to drown in the rain The songs of a temptressTrills timidly toward the object of her pain The depravity that we share is just an empty chairA dreary song we were forced to sing
